Awards and honors / Business Gazelle 2013

Business Gazelles rankings are compiled every year by the economic daily journals of the Swedish Bonnier Press Group. In addition to "Puls Biznesu", the rankings are also prepared by its sister papers from Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Latvia, Russia, Estonia and Slovenia. The selection criteria for Gazelles in particular countries are tailored to the local economic conditions; nonetheless, the goal is the same everywhere – to promote small and medium enterprises.

In 2013, "Puls Biznesu" issued the fourteenth edition of "Business Gazelles". This time, the ranking included 4272 companies. The position in the ranking depends solely on the results achieved by the company, and more specifically – the increase in turnover earned over the last three years. The value expressed as a percentage determines the ranking position. Moreover, in each of the years taken into account, the company has to make profit, and furthermore, the profits and turnover have to grow every year.
The eligibility for the ranking depends also on the business transparency, demonstrated by publishing of its own financial results by the company.
